A deadstock sneaker refers to a brand-new pair of kicks that have never been worn before, come in an undamaged box, and have all of their tags. Because a deadstock sneaker is in perfect condition and is no longer being sold by the retailer, it often has a lot of value.

The acronym VNDS stands for "Very Near Dead Stock", a term that appeared on sneaker forums several years ago to describe the near-new condition of a pair of sneakers, but also to signify an out-of-stock condition.

“PS” stands for preschooler, indicating that the shoes are meant for a child who is in preschool. Shoes with this acronym fit children between the ages of three and five. However, since not all shoes of the same size will be exactly the same, a child who's a bit younger or older might also be able to fit into PS shoes.
